| Our Side, Rear Screens and Hood. |
The wet weather gear was £350 and many said it didn't fit too well and that water got in under the front edge (top) of the Hood. We chose to fit some caravan awning track and buy a piece of canvas for the roof. Plastic side screens and we would be nice and dry. |

The rear screen can be seen in the picture below, it is an integral part of our weather gear Our Soft Top. We fitted a piece of caravan awning track to our car. Stories reached our eares of water being forced under the front edge of the soft top between the turnbuckles. As the soft top raps over the top of the track we see little prospect of suffering fron this undesirable feature and now can confirm it is totally dry. The track is item; 003729, Description; Al EXT 6063-T6 4Mtr 113268 awning, from BACO. Our nearest depo with stock was Bristol tel 0117 948 2600. |

| Low profile of the soft top when fitted. The soft top is constructed by sowing a wire rope into the front edge. To fit the soft top it simply slides through the track |

| We purchased the fabric 2m of "Cordura PU NAVY" 300 gsm 1.5m wide from ABBEY Saddlery & Crafts Ltd 01565 650343. it cost £7.20/m ex Vat and delivery. Total price £23.38. www.abbeysaddlery.co.uk |

The soft top is not finished, at speed the elastics expand and roof lifts. There are placed at the bottom of the rollover brace "C" clips which will hold the hood in place and the elastics will be removed. As you can see additional sowing is required. The Elastic has now been replaced and we can do 50 without the hood lifting. we have used Stainless Steel triangular Rings JSP6395 3 x 20mm and some sailing hooks with plastic snap fastning clips. Stainless Hinges JP505-04 2 OFF EACH HAND |
